As the header of the home page we set new carousel. Slider content can be managed by admins from a SharePoint list and can be submitted by users as well with going though the automated approval process
Simplify Navigation we added a Quick links web-part on the home page that users can go to desired page in less clicks. Information hosted in the list and retrieved from it using REST API calls and Json.

One place to get access to all 3rd party apps used across the organization, like ADP, Health Insurance and other Benefits, Employee Assistance program and so on. Tiles format helps save place and make functionality more visual and intuitive.
Showing up the upcoming events in the right order calendar built as a Web-part for SharePoint can also be synchronized with user’s local Outlook or other calendars.
